Care Guide

Care Guide

Each piece is made of sterling silver or 14k yellow gold, often set with sapphires, diamonds, or tourmalines. With proper care, your jewelry will wear beautifully over time.

Silver

Sterling silver naturally darkens with air and moisture.
This surface change, called tarnish, can be removed with the polishing cloth included with your jewelry.
Silver is a soft metal, and high-polish finishes may show fine marks with wear.
Keep pieces dry and away from lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products, and store them in the pouch provided.

Gold

I use solid 14k yellow gold. Gold does not tarnish easily, though its surface can pick up fine scratches over time, especially on high-polish finishes.
These marks are normal signs of wear and can be reduced by storing each piece separately in its pouch.
Keep gold away from harsh chemicals, perfumes, and cleaning products to maintain its color and finish.

Stones

Most of the stones I use are sapphires, diamonds, and tourmalines. They are durable for daily wear.
Still, it’s best to remove jewelry during activities that can cause impact or pressure: exercising, lifting, climbing, or moving furniture.
Avoid wearing jewelry in saunas, pools, or hot water.
If you take your rings off, keep them on a chain or in a safe place.

Cleaning

Everyday wear can leave a light buildup around stones.
To clean your jewelry, soak it briefly in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then brush gently with a soft brush and rinse.
Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Use the included polishing cloth to remove tarnish from silver.

Each order comes with care instructions specific to the piece.
